About
I am an educator, curator, and scholar with fifteen years of cumulative experience working in universities and museums.
I have a proven track record of building and maintaining multi-institutional and community collaborations that culminate in public projects which enhance the research and educational mission of my university and our community partners. My classroom teaching centers active learning techniques and an ethical consideration of publicly engaged research. My pedagogy emphasizes project-driven, experiential learning.
My museological practice lies at the edge of curation and museum interpretation. I have worked in a range of genres from wayside signage for historic sites to more traditional object-based exhibits and from audio experiences to the digital presentations of collections.
